Today A Symbolic Part of the Hawaiian Culture

All of the jewelry pieces below are  original pieces of art, hand crafted and designed in a traditional old Hawaiian style.  No two are alike and each piece is unique and "one of a kind".
The artist uses the finest materials available and hand carves each piece using a variety of materials including fossilized walrus ivory, estate elephant ivory (pre-1975), indigenous Hawaiian woods and rare Tahitian Back Mother of Pearl Shells.  All materials used are legal and comply with US Laws.  All cords are hand woven and pieces are hand wrapped.  This artist recently participated in the crafts exhibit at the Merry Monarch Festival in Hilo, Hawaii.
Below we've given you a sampling of various fishhooks using different materials and varying shapes of fishhooks and included palaoas, whale tails and ulua fish.  Prices range between $100-$250.
